Are you the lab wiz that will support our science teachers in making science the new favourite at CIS?

We are looking to for a new colleague to work with our science teachers in a part-time (75%), permanent position starting on 1st August 2021.


You will be providing technical support for our laboratory facilities including ensuring that our teachers and students have the right equipment for their lessons and that the lab environment is clean, safe and well-stocked in-line with Health and Safety requirements.

We guarantee that you will have an inspiring and fun workday at CIS. We have an international culture and our school is housed in an exciting, bespoke building from 2017 in Copenhagen's new neighbourhood, Nordhavn, just next to the metro station and the habour buss and close to s-train and regional trains at Østerport.


You probably have a background in the sciences and have extensive experience with practical work in the laboratory, including:

  • Experience in preparing chemicals and equipment

  • Can provide in-class support to the science teachers in their practical lessons

  • Can cover science classes in the event of teacher absence

  • Have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Familiar with the Danish Health & Safety requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

If you have worked at a school before in a similar capacity, that would be a great advantage.
