Are you the organisational wiz that stays steady while helping the rest of us move forward in a constantly changing school day? Then you are the Administrative Coordinator we are looking for.


As our new Administrative Coordinator, you play a crucial role in supporting our Primary School and Primary School Principal. You ensure smooth operations and effective communication within our school community, and you put your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks to great use every day.

Your workday will be fast-paced and with interaction with (and interruptions from) students, teachers, subs, parents, and colleagues. You will be at the heart of our Primary School and work in close collaboration with the Primary School leadership team on strategic, operational and confidential tasks. 


Our workplace has a very special international culture and we are housed in an exciting, architect-designed building from 2017 in Copenhagen's new Nordhavnskvarter, right by the waterfront and close to public transport and residential areas.


The position is approx. 42 hours per week with approx. 12 weeks vacation per year. Start date: Early August 2024.

Qualifications

We are hoping for a new colleague who has:

  • Relevant educational qualification, e.g. a bachelor degree in business administration or similar

  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in an educational setting.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Hands-on mentality, customer service-oriented and a proactive problem-solving approach to work.

  • IT-minded, with a demonstrated ability to navigate and use various digital tools effectively, including Google Workspace and database management

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and record-keeping.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
